Thanksgiving is fast approaching and everyone is scurrying about shopping and planning their Thanksgiving dinner. I have bought most everything I need so far. It's hard out here in the country. This is such a beautiful area. http://www.brenhamtexas.com/ However, right now there is a limited amount of locally grown and organic product available. I have found a small group of people that are starting a "movement" out here. I am so excited about that! http://www.homesweetfarm.com/


Dave and I did get lucky out here though. It is a different way of life. Not so much hustle and bustle as we had in the city. With Dave from Chicago... you would think it would be the hardest on him... but it's not. He is like silly putty.... can fit in anywhere.

We went out for margaritas with our good friends Laurie and Gary. They have a son (Thomas) in Jillian's class. So, we had four kids there. I am surprised we didn't get asked to leave. Jack loves to scream, Lila was ready for a nap, Jilllian and Thomas were dancing around the table to the music stylings of the karaoke guy.....

Dave wants more kids..... I say... good luck with that.....
